While Codi may have started off as a tomboy due to having three brothers, things began to change when she entered middle school. Slowly the baggy clothes were traded in for cute outfits, make up, and accessories. And the moment she started to notice cute boys she was lost to the males in her family. However, having three brothers meant that the cute boys often were scared off, much to her dismay, although to her brothers it was the best thing ever. Even when Codi began to date most guys kept her at arms length because of their fear of the older Davis children. Her father was not a fan of his little girl growing up, and having to deal with her wearing make up and clothes he thought were too revealing. And the idea of her dating made him constantly believe he was goingto have a heart attack. Especially when Codi joined the cheerleading squad. He often would suggest that her team should rethink their outfits, that knee-length skirts were much better.
There were a few boys who were able to push passed their fears of her brothers and date her, but the relationships never really lasted. On top of the fact that Codi had three older and scary brothers, she was also a virgin and wasn't just going to lose it to anyone. Even when it came to one of her longest relationships, she just wasn't ready. It also didn't help the idea that the idea of getting stuck in Quinby forever scared her. She wanted to get out of there, but her boyfriend wanted to stay. He wanted to take over his dad's business and start a family, and that wasn't for Codi. Yeah, she wanted a family, but when she tried to picutre it, she just couldn't. So she applied to college all over, and when she was accepted to The Pratt Insitute in New York, she knew this was her ticket out.
As much as Codi had wanted out of her small town and experience something new and exciting, NYC was more overwhelming than she had ever thought possible. It was fast paced and she feared she would not be able to keep up. However, she did not want to give up this chance, and decided maybe moving outside of the city would be a better option. As much as she hated to admit it, she kind of did miss the small town vibe. Although Westchester County was extremely close to the city, it was far enough that Codi felt a little more at ease. Settling into Sleepy Hollow, New York with some roommates was a dream come true. And the fact some of her family lived in the area made it that much easier.
Eventually Codilynn Davis went onto to meet Bryce Masen, and her life would be forever turned upside down. She couldn't deny how draw to him she was, and she basically fell head over heels in love almost instantly. Before they knew it Codi was both pregnant and sporting an engagement ring. Her brothers were aprehensive over the fact their baby sister was getting married to a man they did not know, but eventually they started to warm up. Although all three of them threatened to come to New York and kill Bryce. On July 16, 2010, the couple welcomed twins - a boy and a girl named Tyler Jacob and Elizabeth Grace into the world. A world that Codi wouldn't change for anything. A marriage followed in December, and with her own business and Bryce's music career really starting to go places, Codi was so happy.
She never second guessed moving to New York, even though at first it had scared it. It brought her love and a family, and that was important to Codi. She and Bryce welcomed a third child into the world on May 4, 2012 and they just could not deny naming her Leia. After all, Bryce's favorite thing in the world (besides her and the kids) was star wars.
